The Ontario Sailing Coach Boat Safety course is a nationally recognized safety training course that meets the requirements for CANSail dinghy instructors in Canada. Topics covered in the course are basic powerboat operation; sailboat rescue techniques; mark-setting for a sailing lesson, and general water safety content.
As a Sail Canada Learning Facilitator and co-author of the course, I offer private or semi-private Coach Boat Safety courses to individuals or groups who are unable to attend and participate in the group classes offered by Ontario Sailing.
